Define A Marketing Agreement

Marketing success is hard to measure because you often don`t know who is responding to a particular ad or campaign. You must insert a baseline against which you measure the marketing advisor`s productivity at the end of the contract. This means that you hire a marketing agency or consultant to take care of marketing your small business for you. A properly developed distribution and marketing agreement can bring both a distribution department and a marketing department within the same team. This means that if a marketing agency has been mandated by a small company to promote a new product, the marketing agreement would stipulate that no other marketing agency would participate in the marketing of that product for the stated time.
